Who Believes ThaT China Had No New Cases The Last Two Days?

I think the probability of this is zero.

I think they have been lying from the start and they are just doubling down.

Previously they would report new cases and have the exact same death toll of 2%. Really? Why not 1.9% one week and 2.1% the next week. No..they had the same numbers every week.

There is one possibility that would make this true.....they dont have any testing kits.....then you can honestly say there are no new cases to report.

Sounds like fake news. They had 39 new cases yesterday according to the numbers. They are down but not at zero. I saw some people posting screen shots out of context before the numbers were updated on FB. Wouldn't be surprised if the media ran with it without fact checking

Honestly, I think he's handling it the same way any Democrat would have handled it. Other than the politically correct stuff like calling it the China Virus, what more could he have done? Even with the test kits, it was a matter of regulations, any dem would have had the same issues. The only difference is they might have actually known the regs and not be dumb enough to make promises they couldn't keep. I believe 100% that if a dem were in office the numbers would be the same or worse.

I hope you're joking. First mistake was cutting funding and disbanding the Pandemic Response Unit that the previous guy created to deal with pandemics such as this one. Secondly he ignored multiple warnings in 2019 that the US was ill equipped and ill funded to deal with pandemics such as this one. Thirdly he spent Jan-Feb calling it a "Hoax" and lying about it being "completely under control".... those 2 months were crucial to stemming the tide, just ask South Korea.

Obama's model was to wait 6 months with H1N1...Biden wanted to and still states today to let the travel between China continue...If these two idiots are any kind of example on how they would've handled things , I would respectfully disagree with your assessment .

I agree with your earlier post of 12k deaths would be a win with this situation.. far less than the annual average flu deaths we get.. And it certainly puts shutting down the economy over this as maybe the biggest blunder in US history

Trump never called the virus a hoax. That's fake news. And the media ran with it. It's my biggest complaint on the media. He claimed their criticism of his handling of it a hoax. The damage is done though. One side went into mass panic, because they thought the President called it a hoax and wasn't taking it serious, the other side believed it and really think this is all a hoax. That's not free speech, that's yelling fire. Even snopes which is left leaning called out the President calling this a hoax as untrue. I'd like to see a class action law suit against a certain news channel. What they did was on purpose, not accidental, it was egregious and beyond crossing the line of just being biased. If Trump thought it was a hoax why would he be patting himself on the back about banning travel to China early in the game?

Even if China is not aware of any new cases the past two days, that doesn't mean there weren't any or that they're saying there were none. Just that they don't know of any.

S Korea did 260,000 tests from the get go and were able to isolate the illness, this with a population of 50 million, USA with 325 million has done less than 30% of that and spring breakers are partying it up on South Padre and Florida as we speak, ready to bring #TrumpVirus back to their families and friends by this weekend
